Savory Spice Shop Teams Up With LiveMom.com For Savory Kids Cooking Classes
AUSTIN, Texas – Savory Spice Shop has teamed up with LiveMom.com (Austin’s great resource for Moms and families) to launch Savory Kids, a series of cooking lessons for children ages 7-12. The lessons will provide children with a fun and interactive way to explore new flavors and learn healthy eating habits. The cost for each class is $6 per child and they must be accompanied by one adult. Lessons will be held at Savory Spice Shop, located at 1201B W. 6th St., Austin, TX 78703.
The class schedule is:
June 13 – Healthy and Tasty Snacks
June 20 – A Yummy Trip to Morocco
June 27 – Not Just Ordinary Tacos
Healthy and Tasty Snacks will explore fun treats including Fruit Kabobs, Vindaloo Fruit and Nuts with Yogurt, Popcorn with numerous sprinkles and Veggie Sandwiches. A Yummy Trip to Morocco will feature Savory Spice Shop’s Chicken Ras El Hanout recipe that has apricots and more. Not Just Ordinary Tacos will explore the different ways to flavor tacos and salsas.
