Creative Playground (Georgetown)

The Creative Playground in Georgetown is just awesome. It’s similar to the Children’s Park in San Marcos, just a little bit smaller but certainly large enough for several hours of outdoor play. The playground is entirely constructed of wood with many towers, bridges, walkways for all sorts of imaginative play. There’s even a tiered seating area that our daughter and her friend turned into a dance stage; we enjoyed the artistic interpretations of two kindergarteners. Fabulous, indeed.
The playground is completely fenced in except for a couple of openings in the fence to allow easy access to the parking lot, picnic tables, and to the restroom. We came Sunday morning, and it appeared to me that a party or two must have been had the day before. The housekeeping crew had not been by (yet). Because the play structure is almost a maze of sorts, it is easy to lose sight of a child, but the playground is nearly entirely enclosed so we felt safe that our daredevil child was safe.
This park is so much fun that I’ll just leave you with photographs that definitely say more than any words could.
