How awesome is this that another area photographer is giving back to the community. If you know someone who deserves the gift of photography but cannot afford it, please submit your nominations.

It’s that time of year again! The holiday season is upon us! Decorations are up, the radio stations have added a whole new genre of holiday hits to their normal line up, the smell of cinnamon and spice is in the air…. and we are all reminded of our blessings and family and the goodness that is all around us.
But somewhere, someone you know may not be feeling the same. They may be sick, hurting or financially struggling. They may be raising kids while holding down more than one job, or they may be volunteering selflessly despite extenuating personal circumstances. You know someone who would cherish custom photography, but they simply can’t afford it. You know someone who deserves a year-round reminder of their family’s spirit, love, and beauty.
You know someone.
Dawn Fry Photo (formerly DLM Photography) is once again participating in the world wide “Giving Is Awesome” challenge. We want to know your “someone” and we want to give them the chance to experience complimentary custom photography – over $1000 worth, to be exact. And it’s in your power to give them the artwork they deserve this holiday season.
Oh and the best part? The person who nominates the winner receives a complimentary session and a $100 print credit! What better reason could there be to show some love to someone you know?
The Rules:
1) You cannot nominate yourself, and the person nominated must sincerely be incapable of purchasing my services.
2) The nominee must reside in the Austin or Houston area. Tell me who you know, what they are experiencing, and why they deserve my artwork. Please include a way to contact both you and your nominee as well.
3) You must email me the full story: dawn(at)dlm-photography.com
4) Entries must be received no later than midnight on December 20th to be considered. I will present all entries to a panel of fellow photographers and a winner will be selected by panel vote.
The winner will be announced on Christmas Eve – GET NOMINATING!! I can’t wait to read all of your entries!
